Minutes from 3/28/11 General Meeting

1. Teege
    A. vote for him if you live north of Washington or in kohle
    B. help canvas on Saturday and Sunday  from 10:30 on Tuesday the fifth (election day) sign   waving outside polling district, vote!
    C. general on campus action – get LU to vote early

2. New Secretary: Reiko

3. Glow House 

A.    review on April 15^th – anyone who want to help should email jared

B.    applications for residents next year: Jared will send it out soon, will be due April 13th

C.  looking for two to three people who will form committee to help put together house, committed for all of next year . if you’re interested email Meghan K./Jared

D. RLM will be voted on by people who are going to live in the house next year

E.  If you’re not going to be here for a term next year you will need to help find someone to fill your spot if you want to live here 

F.  Encourage less involved members of Glow to apply! Especially freshman

4. Bjorklunden

A.     Weekend of April 22 (Easter Weekend)

B.    Anyone want to be Bjork trip advisor? Email Joanna ASAP!

C.     We have 20 spots to fill

5. Exec Board Meetings: Now open to general members

     A.     will be scheduled around exec members

     B.     general members will not have vote on issues, but will be able to listen, express opinions

6. Drag Show

A.     Budget?

B.     Encourage everyone to participate, do acts, attend (and stay)

C.     Try to get other diversity groups involved

7. April 15^th: March on Madison

A.     Email Meghan if interested

B.     Will miss afternoon classes, will get free t-shirt

8. Ripon is attending our meeting next week –  want to learn how to recruit, make more connections, etc.
